What is LEAP n Splash?

LEAP n Splash is a specialised 1:1 paediatric occupational therapy program delivered in the water. Designed and run by qualified OTs, this program harnesses the therapeutic benefits of warm water to support children in developing the physical, sensory, and emotional skills they need to thrive.

Each session is customised to suit your child’s developmental stage, strengths, and therapy goals – all while taking place in a fun, supportive, and low-pressure aquatic environment.

Why OT in the water?

Water-based therapy is a powerful tool for children who learn best through movement and play. The water’s natural resistance helps to build strength and coordination, while its calming sensory properties promote self-regulation and emotional wellbeing.

In the water, children often feel freer, more relaxed, and more motivated – making it an ideal setting for skill development.
